Traditional afternoon tea
There is no better place to enjoy this beloved tradition than in the Tudor Bar and Lounge or Great Hall of our historic country house.
The Knightley family were residents of Fawsley Hall, Northamptonshire, for more than 500 years, and they were marvellous entertainers. It was often said that Louisa Knightley would love to take tea in the bay window of the Tudor Great Hall, overlooking the pasture and the Church of St Mary, and now you can relive history. Our Head Pastry Chef, Raechel Harris, crafts some of the most beautiful cakes that we have even seen and tasted. After working for various 4 and 5 Star establishments, Raechel has worked at Fawsley Hall for seven years and has deservedly built a great reputation for afternoon tea.
You can enjoy Fawsley's delicious afternoon tea in the magnificent surroundings of the Tudor Great Hall (subject to availability), the beautiful Tudor Bar and Lounge, or, if fine weather, in our stunning courtyard. Afternoon tea is served until 5.30pm and at weekends, afternoon tea will be served in the Salvin Suite.
