Fawsley Hall’s afternoon tea menu includes:

  • Savoury bites

A range of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks

Evey tasty mouthful is crafted daily by our Head Pastry Chef. All you’ll need to do is sit back and take in the splendid surroundings.

History of Fawsley Hall

Fawsley Hall has regal roots, as it was used as a country escape for the Tudor monarchy and landscaped by iconic British garden architect Capability Brown in the 1760s. Now, you can soak up its glittering history by enjoying a classic Fawsley Hall afternoon tea.

The Knightley family were residents of Fawsley Hall, Northamptonshire, for more than 500 years. It’s said they were fantastic entertainers and were rumoured to have even welcomed Tudor queen Elizabeth I for a royal weekend escape.

And when they weren’t entertaining, ladies including Louisa Knightley would take their tea in the bay window of the Tudor Great Hall, overlooking the pasture and the Church of St Mary.

Let yourself travel back in time at this grand venue for a memorable afternoon tea.
