Our 2 AA Rosette Restaurant offers guests and locals an intimate and relaxing setting within which to enjoy a menu of classic British dishes enhanced with a contemporary twist.

Our Head Chef places provenance at the heart of the kitchen, sourcing produce from trusted local suppliers wherever possible to ensure the highest quality of ingredients. Updated seasonally, the menu is characterised by vibrant flavours, fresh textures and specialities such as orchard reared pork cutlet and loin of Highland venison.

All menus can be adapted to cater for dietary requirements such as gluten-free, Vegan or Vegetarian. Please contact the team upon booking and let us know.

Located on the ground floor of the South Wing, the dining space was built in the early 16th century and displays many hallmarks of the Tudor era, with a beamed ceiling, exposed brickwork and stone fireplace. The Cedar Restaurant has been sympathetically decorated to enhance these period features, with hung tapestries, wall lanterns and antique style furniture to complement the historical surroundings. 

Lunch: Saturday and Sunday 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Dinner: Monday to Sunday 6.15pm to 9.15pm


All our food is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present and our menu descriptions do not include all ingredients. If more information about allergens is required, please ask a member of the team.
