During your ninety-minute guided walk, you'll discover the New Forest's remarkable biodiversity. Learn to identify native wildlife – from the iconic New Forest ponies and deer that wander the open heaths to the rare birds and smaller creatures that inhabit the woodland. Your guide will reveal the secrets of the forest's ecology, explaining how traditional commoning practices, ancient trees and diverse habitats create one of Europe's most important conservation areas.
