The Cedar Restaurant

Our 3AA Rosette Cedar Restaurant offers an intimate and refined dining experience, centred around a five course tasting menu that showcases classic British cuisine with a contemporary twist.

Led by Head Chef Joe Gould, provenance sits at the heart of the kitchen, with carefully sourced ingredients from trusted local suppliers. The menu evolves with the seasons, highlighting vibrant flavours, refined techniques and thoughtfully crafted dishes.

Located on the ground floor of the South Wing, the restaurant dates back to the early 16th century and retains many Tudor features, including a beamed ceiling and exposed brickwork.

The Cedar Restaurant has been sympathetically styled to enhance its heritage, with tapestries, wall lanterns and antique-style furnishings creating a warm and atmospheric setting.

Our tasting menu can be adapted to cater for dietary requirements including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian. Please advise the team at the time of booking.

Lunch: Sunday 12.30pm to 2.30pm
Dinner: Wednesday to Sunday 6pm to 8pm
