The Black Sheep Brewery was established in 1992 in an old maltings overlooking the town of Masham in North Yorkshire.

This historic independent brewery uses reclaimed traditional equipment and Yorkshire square fermenting vessels in the production of their award-winning beers.

The Brewery tour* takes you on a journey from the start of Black Sheep’s story to the present day, as well as giving you a full insight into how the beers are made and the unique processes used to create the perfect pint of Black Sheep. The visit finishes at the bar, where you can sample a range of Black Sheep’s delicious beers!

The Bar & Kitchen at the Brewery’s Visitor Centre serve authentic Yorkshire food to accompany the cask ales, keg beers and 54 Lager on offer and these can also be enjoyed in the picturesque beer garden or purchased to take home.
