Known locally as the 'Jewel in the Forest', Rhinefield House provides an enchanting backdrop for this unforgettable encounter with birds of prey. Your experience unfolds in our tranquil gardens and woodland, where ancient trees and manicured lawns create the perfect natural arena for these magnificent creatures to demonstrate their remarkable abilities.

Under the expert guidance of Paul Manning – an experienced falconer with over thirty years of dedication to his craft – you'll gain a comprehensive introduction to the world of birds of prey. Learn about their training, care and natural behaviours, discovering what makes these creatures such extraordinary hunters and why falconry has captivated humans for millennia.

This is far more than a passive observation. You'll have hands-on experience holding and flying these remarkable birds, feeling the power and grace as they return to your glove. Watch in awe as hawks and falcons demonstrate their hunting prowess in simulated flights, showcasing the speed and precision that makes them nature's most efficient aerial predators. The experience concludes with an intimate owl encounter, where you'll meet these enigmatic birds up close and discover their unique adaptations for silent flight.

Throughout your time with Amews Falconry, you'll be immersed in fascinating insights about raptor biology, conservation and the ancient traditions of falconry. The experience accommodates up to four guests, ensuring an intimate and personalised encounter suitable for ages twelve and above.
