Embrace the tranquillity of dawn in the New Forest with our exclusive Deer & Wildlife Photography experience. In partnership with Experience Hampshire, this expert-led session offers a rare opportunity to capture the region's magnificent wildlife in their natural habitat, just moments from Rhinefield House Hotel.

Your adventure begins in the early morning light, when the forest is at its most atmospheric and the wildlife most active. Under the guidance of an experienced photographer and naturalist, you'll venture into the ancient woodland surrounding the hotel to seek out the New Forest's famous deer herds – fallow, red, roe and sika – alongside other native wildlife including rare birds, ponies and woodland creatures.

Your expert host will share invaluable insights into field craft and animal behaviour, helping you anticipate wildlife movements and position yourself for that perfect shot.

Learn composition techniques specific to wildlife photography, from framing animals in their natural environment to capturing the interplay of forest light and shadow. Whether you're shooting with a professional camera or simply your smartphone, you'll gain skills and confidence to create stunning images.

This intimate experience lasts approximately three to four hours, giving you ample time to immerse yourself in the forest's rhythms and capture a diverse portfolio of images. The small group size – maximum two guests for private workshops – ensures personalised attention and the flexibility to follow the wildlife wherever they lead.

After your enriching morning in nature's studio, return to Rhinefield House. You may choose to extend your experience with our exquisite afternoon tea, where delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and delectable pastries provide the perfect conclusion to your wildlife adventure.
