Nutfield Priory offers a traditional Sunday lunch served in the grand surroundings of this magnificent country house.

Both Cloisters and the Gibson room create a special atmosphere to enjoy some fine food with family and friends. Our head chef devises an ever-changing three-course Sunday lunch menu based on the traditional favourites, which are enhanced with some modern twists.

Starters

  • Cauliflower veloute with toasted almonds
  • Char grilled leeks with brown shrimp and cucumber vinaigrette
  • Caesar salad
  • Tomato salad with shallot and balsamic dressing and torn mozzarella

Mains

  • Treacle cured topside of beef, Yorkshire pudding and butter roast potatoes
  • Slow cooked lamb leg, salsa verde and roasted potatoes 
  • Pan fried fillet of salmon with a warm salad of potatoes, capers & lemon
  • Truffled cauliflower and mature cheddar macaroni with crisp leaf salad

Desserts

  • Orange tart with vanilla mascarpone
  • Banoffee knickerbocker glory
  • Selection of ice creams
  • Cheese board with chutney and crackers​
