Nutfield Priory offers a traditional Sunday lunch served in the grand surroundings of this magnificent country house.

Both Cloisters and the Gibson room create a special atmosphere to enjoy some fine food with family and friends. Our head chef devises an ever-changing three-course Sunday lunch menu based on the traditional favourites, which are enhanced with some modern twists.

Starters

  • Cauliflower veloute, with parmesan cheese
  • Potted prawn cocktail with avocado and cress
  • Ham hock terrine, pineapple chutney and crisp toast
  • John Ross smoked salmon with brown bread and butter


Mains

  • Nutfield fish pie with sauté carrots, steamed kale
  • Maple cured topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding and red wine jus 
  • Traditional roast chicken, served with seasonal vegetables
  • Pan fried potato gnocchi with pumpkin, chestnuts and fried sage


Desserts

  • Ice cream and fruits
  • Vanilla crème brulee
  • Warm chocolate brownie with clotted ice cream
  • Traditional bread and butter pudding and orange ice cream
