New Hall Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, has a renowned restaurant in its own right and the high quality of cuisine extends throughout our events and weddings in West Midlands.

The following menus are a selection of the many dishes we can prepare. If you have your own ideas, just speak with our chef.

Canapés

  • Smoked haddock and leek tartlets

Starters

  • Ballotine of ham hock, quail egg, saffron mayonnaise, carrot and raisin
  • Baked Scottish salmon, asparagus, pea dressing, warm hollandaise sauce
  • Smoked duck breast, pear, quince jelly, aged balsamic
  • Truffle risotto, poached hen’s egg, cèpe velouté (v)

Main courses

  • Rump of spring lamb, thyme and garlic fondant potato, fine beans wrapped in bacon, cumin crushed  carrots
  • Breast of corn fed chicken, peas à la France, spring onion mash, tarragon, tomato red wine sauce, roasted young carrot
  • Fillet of British beef, roasted new potatoes, red wine and shallot jus, watercress salad
  • Fillet of free range pork, pomme Anna, pickled red cabbage, raisin and apple compote, maple syrup glazed roast parsnip
  • Fillet of sea bass, mussel and coriander nage, root vegetables, baby spinach
  • Butternut squash and ricotta lasagne, parmesan cream, herb salad (v)
  • Sun blushed tomato polenta, aubergine caviar, spring vegetable salad, lemon and thyme emulsion
