We meet Lisa and Darryl who's wedding in Yorkshire at Crathorne Hall Hotel was themed around little love birds.
We viewed quite a number of venues to find the perfect one but never quite had that 'feeling' until we viewed Crathorne Hall. When we were walking around during a wedding open day we couldn't stop smiling at each other, I asked my then fiancé if he thought it was 'the one' he told me it was the only one he could picture marrying me in, this melted my heart and we booked it.
The colour scheme we had was soft lilac/pinks with a hint of gold. We had a little love bird theme going too as we had these on the invitations, on the cake topper and birdcage centrepieces.
All of our suppliers were first class and made all of the details of our wedding perfect.
Our photographer was unbelievable! Fyzal Photography. He captured every aspect of our day perfectly. We have not stopped getting compliments on our photographs, he is so talented! Our videographers at 'Tie The Knot Films' were wonderful too and worked so well with Fyzal. Most people have said how emotional they felt watching the video!
Our florist at Eliza Blooms was tremendous and created the most beautiful arrangements that really captured the spring wedding. The flowers lasted ages after too so it was even more wonderful having them around the house after the big day.
My dress was from Ava Rose Hamilton and I had the perfect experience you see in films! I looked at the gowns with a Prosecco in hand and the bridesmaids at my side, it was so exciting!
We were lucky enough to have our friends mam Penny make our wedding cake, it was spectacular and tasted delicious. It was all the more special that we know her. 2 of the bridesmaids and I had our make up done by 'Beauty by Cara' she was fabulous! She is a friend from school and without a doubt, the most talented make up artist around. We all looked absolutely flawless and our make up stayed perfect the entire day and night!
We were very pleased with the service and food on our wedding day. I wanted a couple of extras adding to the meal and the hotel were more than happy to accommodate this. All the food was piping hot which from experience at other big functions is a very hard task. We had many compliments on the food! On the day the staff we very helpful, they kept my gran topped up with cups of tea as she didn't want orange juice, bucks fizz or beer! 5 star service we felt.
The whole day was perfect from start to finish for us. It was particularly special walking down the aisle and saying our vows to each other in front of our nearest and dearest.
