The Chapel Down Summer Terrace at Chilston Park

Beyond Chilston Park Hotel's tree-lined approach, acres of parkland, tranquil lake views and beautifully maintained gardens create one of Kent's most idyllic summer settings. Overlooking the water from Culpeper's Terrace, this season's collaboration with Chapel Down transforms the terrace into a celebration of English summer entertaining. 

Produced just 30 minutes from the hotel, Chapel Down's award-winning sparkling wines take centre stage, served from a dedicated terrace experience designed for long lunches, Afternoon Tea and leisurely afternoons in the sunshine. 

Guests can settle into Chapel Down deck chairs beneath branded parasols, enjoy lawn games across the grounds and relax to live music performances throughout the season. The terrace also features a dedicated Chapel Down mobile bar, creating a vibrant social atmosphere inspired by the revival of the traditional English garden party. 

Alongside seasonal menus, guests can enjoy the Terrace Sharing Menu, featuring dishes such as Wagyu ribeye to share with rosemary fries and chimichurri, or grilled Morecambe Bay lemon sole served with mussel and caviar sauce, perfectly paired with a bottle of Chapel Down Brut Reserve. 

Whether joining friends for a sparkling wine flight, lingering over Afternoon Tea by the lake, or enjoying an evening of live music and seasonal dining, Chilston Park offers the quintessential English summer experience.
