The Lady Isabella boasts one of our favourite beds, a wooden sleigh bed sourced from "And So to Bed" of London. This wonderful feature is complemented by a cherry wood desk and two armchairs, whilst the bedroom also has the original fireplace, which provides a focal point for the interior design.
This bedroom benefits from a separate dressing area, with wooden floors that continue into the bathroom. Everything is planned for double occupancy and guests will appreciate the double rain shower and sinks. The white roll-top bath tub is positioned in the centre of the bathroom opposite the tall windows. Privacy is not a worry as the window is sheltered by a large conifer so you can enjoy your bath with a view of nature.
Lady Isabella King was a philanthropist who created the Monmouth Street Society to provide assistance to the needy through charitable enterprise. She lived at 7 Great Bedford Street, a fashionable address behind the Royal Crescent.
Suites and feature rooms are allocated on an availability basis and are not individually bookable. If a specific bedroom or suite is desired please submit a special request when booking online or speak to a member of our team.
