Appropriately named the Royal Lounges, these three areas offer a stunning setting for relaxation or indulgence or perhaps just for catching up with friends over a coffee.
The three Royal lounges are located in the Mansion House and are open to guests and non-residents alike. All offer a degree of sumptuousness, making a great location for elevenses, afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drinks, while floor-to-ceiling windows contribute to the light and spacious feel.
The Princess Elizabeth lounge, the smallest of the three, features a decorative fireplace, bookcase and views to the front of the hotel. The largest lounge, the Queen Charlotte, looks towards the city with a range of comfortable sofas and an open fireplace. The Duke of Clarence lounge also offers views to Bath along with a similarly welcoming array of seating.
The historic surroundings of Bailbrook House lend themselves perfectly to the British tradition of afternoon tea. Served in the Mansion House Royal lounges, this consists of a selection of leaf teas, warm scones, cupcakes, finger sandwiches, and a variety of homemade cakes. For that extra indulgence, just add Champagne. For more information click here. Advanced booking is advised.
