UK country house hotel reveals £1.5m refurbishment.
Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in the Northamptonshire countryside has opened the doors to its latest project – The Spa at Fawsley Hall. Following a significant refurbishment and complete redesign of its pool area and treatment rooms, along with a new ‘Spatisserie’ café, the destination spa is open to members and hotel guests from today, 21st June 2021.

Fawsley Hall is part of Hand Picked Hotels, a family-owned collection of luxury country house hotels where the emphasis is on personalised stays. The renovation has created a calming, restorative atmosphere and enhanced facilities to offer a bespoke, individual spa experience for guests and members.
The £1.5 million refurbishment led by Curveline Designs sees a transformed arrival experience, welcoming guests with light and bright open spaces and soft hues of sage green and pink. The 17m indoor swimming pool and poolside area has seen a complete refresh, in addition to a new outdoor hydrotherapy pool, Himalayan salt sauna, steam room and six new treatment rooms with Gharieni treatment beds.
The gym has been expanded to provide new training areas along with the new ‘Spatisserie’ serving healthy lunches and afternoon tea, and a large relaxation area overlooking the courtyard and hydrotherapy pool for those wanting to relax and soak up the benefits of being surrounded by nature.

The spa renovation is joined by a part refurbishment of six dedicated spa bedrooms, perfect for spa goers looking for a weekend break, and a new spa garden will open this autumn, finishing off the space and creating an intimate rural retreat within the hotel’s impressive grounds.
To mark the reopening, Fawsley Hall has introduced a selection of new treatments with its main spa partners Elemis, and Comfort Zone. The new treatment menu will span both ancient rituals including Reflexology, as well as introducing more modern and technological treatments such as the Elemis Biotec Radiance Renew Facial - a cellular-boosting treatment that uses an ultrasonic peel to stimulate the removal of impurities while the galvanic rejuvenating current restores moisture for instantly clearer and visibly brighter skin.
