The British Summertime bring many joyous things: longer days, warmer temperatures, sunshine, Wimbledon… the list is plentiful, but one of the best things (in our opinion) about Summer is eating Alfresco.
Whether it’s enjoying a spot of lunch with friends in a little sun trap, digging out the picnic basket and blanket and heading for a scenic location to while away a few hours, indulging in a few refreshing beverages in the hub of a buzzing terrace area or firing up the barbeque – eating and drinking outdoors is a summer experience.
We’ve been doing a lot of preparing for this wonderful time of year, with newly refurbished terrace areas and perfectly groomed grounds ready and waiting to welcome the Summer.
Not only that, we have been busy working on a special Al Fresco menu to be enjoyed in the comfort of our terrace areas featuring sharing platters brimming with colourful veggies, freshly baked doughy bread, cured meats and light seafood.
Hydration is key when spending time outdoors so we have been sure to provide guests with a host of refreshing beverages which we like to call “Fire Fly Juices” – perfectly blended flavours such as kiwi, lime and mint and peach and green tea.
And for those who prefer to indulge with a tipple in the sun we are proud to unveil our Spritz Collection of cocktails influenced by this season’s best ingredients. Think Bombay Sapphire, Limoncello, pureed lychee and Prosecco…. Mmmm.
