We feel a responsibility to the cultural heritage of the fine country houses that make up our collection. At Hand Picked Hotels we seek to create an atmosphere in which guests are encouraged to feel at home. The buildings are all large architecturally stunning properties but no one will ever find themselves tiptoeing around the corridors intimidated by the imposing grandeur of the building. We encourage guests to kick off their shoes and enjoy themselves.

We have brought these fine country houses into the 21st Century by creating our own unique "modern regency" style whereby classical architectural features such as paintings, fireplaces and antique furniture are blended seemingly effortlessly with modern comforts, fabrics and technology. We now offer guests a completely new kind of hospitality.
Although these fine country retreats have their own individual identities, they do share a common characteristic. They were all built for pleasure and we intend to ensure that they deliver the maximum pleasure to our guests.
