Get off to a great start with a Hendon Hall traditional breakfast

At Hand Picked Hotels we believe in serving fresh food with the finest ingredients. This is why your hot breakfast is cooked to order and served at your table. A delicious cold buffet is also available including cereals, yoghurts, freshly baked breads and pastries and a selection of fruits, cheeses and cold meats. Our specialities include goats cheese tartlets, homemade muesli and honeycomb from Devon. Also available upon request are brown and white gluten free bread, diabetic jam and soya milk. Of equal importance as food at breakfast is hydrating for the day. We serve fruit juices, coffee and tea pots with a selection of fine teas to order. You will also find bottled mineral water available.

  • Full English platter, grilled English bacon, pork and herb sausage, grilled tomato, mushroom, black pudding, baked beans, hash browns and your choice of fried, scrambled or poached eggs

    • Hot porridge made with your choice of fresh milk, cream or water and served with honey, brown sugar or salt
    • Eggs benedict - Kent ham with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce served on a toasted English breakfast muffin with grilled tomato
    • Crêpes with caramelised banana and maple syrup
    • Two boiled eggs with toasted soldiers, English bacon, pork and herb sausage or fried egg sandwich, you choose your preferred combination, either on granary or white toast (vegetarian sausages available)
    • Fillet of naturally smoked haddock with poached eggs and chive butter
    • Grilled smoked kipper served with butter and lemon
    • Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toasted brioche
