The British Wildlife Centre
The British Wildlife Centre is a peaceful, relaxing place to see and learn about Britain's wonderful native wildlife - from tiny harvest mice to magnificent red deer. Over 40 different animals that live in the wild in Britain are displayed in natural surroundings, including badgers, foxes, otters, wild cats, owls, red deer and many more.
The centre’s aim is to help everyone learn more about how these creatures live and what we can all do to help them survive in the wild. The popular and informative keeper talks take place every 30 minutes and bring you closer to the wildlife that is all around us but rarely seen. A number of short films, including much footage taken right here, reveal more of the secrets of British wildlife.
Local attractions and things to do in the area may not be open all year round and may require pre-booking. Please check the attraction website before visiting to avoid disappointment.
