2012 Charity Events

Spinathon Marathon!

Our Health Club and Spa have also held their annual Spinathon / Swimathon challenge which took place on the 20th September. This year's challenge was much bigger than the previous year's with seven spin bikes and a lane in the pool which were used constantly from 7am to 10pm. The charity this year was the Norman Laud Association who provide quality short break services for children and young adults with special needs and support for their families. I am pleased to confirm the Health Club members and staff at New Hall raised over £3,000 for the charity. The money will be presented to them in the next couple of weeks.
 

Julie Smith, Sales Manager, has undertaken a mammoth cycle ride across India in November in aid of three cancer charities - Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo' Cervical Cancer Trust.

So far, Julie has raised over £2,700 for these charities through fundraising events and auctions.
