Red Nose Day 2013
Staff at Hendon Hall Hotel raised £74 for Red Nose Day 2013 with their 'Bake it or Fake it' day!
Can you tell which are baked and which are faked?
The Friday Night Ride to the Coast
On Friday 29th June 2012, a small team from Hendon Hall Hotel cycled from Hyde Park Corner to Southend-on-Sea, approximately 100 km, in support of our nominated charity, Hope House.
Hope House is an independent charity founded in 1998 serving the social, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of children, young people and families in the London Borough of Barnet.

Here is an update from Sandrine:
"We left Hyde Park Corner at midnight and cycled via the East End of London, getting cheered and clapped a few times on the way.
The rain also joined in; it was nice to cool us down when it drizzled!
Just before we stopped at a service station around 3am, the rain was heavy and we got splashed by rather large lorries, not so nice...
As the rain did not stop, we had a longer than expected break, allowing me to use the hand dryers to dry off We carried on around 4.20am and reached Southend-on-Sea at 7.30am well in time for breakfast.
I wanted to go for a relaxing swim but the sea was a bit to rough for my liking!
I slept most of Saturday
Surprisingly my legs were not hurting that much but note to self: padded trousers & gel saddle a must!!!
Will I do it again?
Definitely! Not sure when but I will!"
Hope House is a grass roots charity established in 2000, to transform communities from the inside out; providing young adults mentoring, a youth café, family activities, toddler and children’s groups and community events, by facilitating teams to live on local estates.
