English Breakfast Tea
This tea is based on the traditional recipe and is made with Ceylonese tea and highly aromatic Assam teas. A fine spicy full of flavour morning tea or perfect for that afternoon brew.
Earl Grey Tea
Earl Grey Tea is a very famous historic loose leaf tea blend flavoured with Oil of Bergamot. It is a very delicate process and choosing the right blend of tea to oil is critical. Some teas hold the oil better than others. Our tea blend is the perfect mix of teas from Keemun, Assam and Darjeeling and of course it is most important to use natural Oil of Bergamot.
Ceylon Tea - Orange Pekoe Tea
This tea has a beautiful black pine needle looking leaf with a sweetish earthy flavour and full bodied taste giving the cup a dark red colour.
Lapsang Souchang
A smoky Chinese black tea. When plucking Lapsang tea you do not pick the new growths of leaves or buds. Instead you pluck the more mature, larger leaves from the lower parts of the tea bushes. After fermentation the tea leaves are put on hot iron pans and roasted for a short time and then the tea is smoked over exotic woods rich in resin. This tea has a lovely large black greyish leaf with a sharp note of smoke giving it a smoky spicy flavour.
Decaffeinated Tea
This tea is a Chinese decaffeinated black loose leaf tea which has a rich aroma in the cup.
Green Tea
A Chinese loose leaf tea, olive green in colour and is mild yet with a sweet note.
Blue Lady Tea
This exotic tea is named after the blue lady spirit who roams the haunted village of Pluckley, some of the villagers call her Lady Blue. This is a citrus scented blend of loose leaf black tea with exotic flowers. A powerful citrus aroma with a sweet scented taste.

Chef and his brigade make all of our afternoon tea items daily. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance. Please allow 25 minutes if you have not made a booking.
