Buckmore Park is an MSA licensed, 1200m international outdoor kart circuit catering for sports, corporate and hire-kart drivers aged 4 to 84 years. Kent Life is a 28 acre, premier heritage farm attraction that encompasses a wonderful farmyard with a family of friendly animals ranging from donkeys, horses and ferrets to piglets, goats and lambs, many of whom are reared on site.

Kent Life also offers a developing nature trail, aviary, boat trips, tractor rides and stilt walking as well as other activites to entertain visitors during holidays and weekends, such as sheep dog trial and sheep shearing demonstrations, bottle-feeding lambs, craft activites and animal grooming.

Light refreshments are available at Kent Life in the Tea Rooms or the Coffee bar, and the gift shop has a wide range of both traditional and modern souvenirs.

The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railways is Kent's mainline in miniature. First opened to traffic in July 1927 as the 'World's Smallest Public Railway' and now covering a distance of 13.5 miles from the picturesque Cinque Port of Hythe, near the Channel Tunnel, to the fishermans cottages and lighthouses at Dungeness.

This restored 17th century barn holds exhibitions about wildlife and conservation, with plenty of hands-on displays for children. The shop and tearoom caters for all age and the shop specialises in Natural History publications, animal and bird homes and feeders.

A variety of Kentish habitats surround this wooden barn and the park is rich in wildlife, with over 250 wildflowers recorded. It has a large pond, meadow, chalk bank and scrub habitats, as well as a bird watching hide and displays on composting, ‘green picnics’ and a wide variety of different native plant species.

Tyland Barn also houses a shop selling an extensive range of wildlife and environment-related books and gifts. The cafe serves a selection of drinks, sandwiches and hot snacks.
