A christening or naming ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the addition of a baby into your family circle.

Every occasion is different and your own choice of content will ensure that it is a truly unique celebration that you and your family will remember as your child grows older.

Buxted Park hotel is the perfect location to celebrate the christening or naming of your little VIP. Our dedicated team is on hand to help with all aspects of the day including entertainment.

Our private state rooms accommodate from 10 to 150 guests, and can be used for a formal naming ceremony and then for a celebration meal with family and friends. You can choose between a sit down menu or buffet, many of our rooms have direct access to the gardens, so while the children enjoy themselves on the lawns the adults relax on our private terraces.

• Children will be charged at 50% of the adult menu or as priced on the children's menu

Why not commemorate the day forever by sponsoring a tree in the grounds. Not only will your special day be remembered eternally with your details on the estate’s location map but your tree will be helping the environment.

There are many areas within the grounds for your tree to be planted from the beautiful deer park to the stunning Lime Avenue.

Prices start from £50.

Once you have advised you wish to sponsor a tree, our Grounds team will select a species indigenous to Sussex and choose a suitable location to plant it. 

We will plant the tree on your behalf, however should you wish to come along and use your green fingers you are welcome to do so.  A location map will be provided so you can visit as often as you wish.
