Hand Picked Hotels Awards & Accolades

		National Training Awards Hand Picked Hotels have been awarded two national awards for its training scheme ‘Being Hand Picked’ - the South East Training Award in the Larger Employer (250+) category at the National Training Awards and the Training Journal Award (the TJ Awards) for Customer Service.
		Employer of the Year - the Professional Beauty Awards Hand Picked Hotels have been awarded ‘Employer of the Year’ at the Professional Beauty Awards 2012, recognising excellence in spa and beauty since 1997.
		AA Rosettes Consistently awarded for a high standard of food, with Norton House in Edinburgh receiving the high accolade of three Rosettes and two Rosesttes for 16 hotels.
		AA Red Stars Hand Picked has eight hotels which hold AA Red Stars.
		AA Hotel of The Year Scotland Norton House Hotel & Spa was selected by the AA, in recognition of the hotel’s excellent service, stunning design, fine cuisine and business success.
		HRS Excellence in Marketing Award In HRS’ first awards ceremony, Hand Picked won the only marketing category, being awarded for excellence in marketing for the house party initiative.
		British Beauty & Spa Awards – finalist Rookery Hall and Norton House both achieved final status in the highly acclaimed British Beauty & Spa Awards in September 2008; a great achievement for two very embryonic spas.
		AA Notable Wine List 2007-2008 Awarded to Rookery Hall & Wood Hall for an outstanding selection of wines.
		MBE Awarded to Julia Hands 2007 Awarded for service to the hospitality industry.
		HMA (Hotel Marketing Association) Best Activity on a Small Budget 2007 Awarded for the house party initiative that was pioneered by Hand Picked Hotels in 2007. The award recognised the best marketing initiative that was achieved on a budget of less than £5,000.
		National Business Awards 2005, 2006 Julia Hands was chosen as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in the UK in the National Business Awards 2005 and 2006.
		First Woman Award for Tourism Organised by the CBI in conjunction with Real Business Magazine, the award which recognises women who have broken new ground in British business life was awarded to Julia Hands.
		Real Business magazine – top 50 Awarded in recognition of one of the top 50 companies to watch in 2005.
		AA Hotel Group of the Year 2004-2005 The most prestigious title awarded by the AA during their annual awards ceremony, the award recognises a high level of consistency, service and standards throughout each of its properties.
		Business Excellence Award 2004 Hand Picked Hotels won the top award in recognition of improvements in customer service and branding at the Business Excellence Awards which celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism, hospitality and leisure industry.
