Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, Nantwich, Cheshire, wins ‘Best Spa to go Solo’ in The Good Spa Guide Awards 2014

Hand Picked Hotels scooped the ‘Best Spa to go Solo’ award for Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa at The Good Spa Guide Awards 2014.

Hand Picked’s Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh was selected as a finalist for the ‘Best Spa for a City Break’ and ‘Readers Choice Best Spa in Scotland’ categories, along with Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa being chosen as a finalist for the ‘Best Spa to go Solo’ award.

Now in its sixth year, the Good Spa Guide Awards recognise the best spas across the nation. The winners and finalists are chosen by specially appointed Good Spa Spies who review over 100 spas every year. Following a review of Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, the Good Spa Spies said: “We loved every component of our spa day. The treatments are exceptional, the facilities excellent and the service outstanding”.

Dating back to the 19th Century, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is set in 38 acres of grounds, the ultimate tranquil setting for spa guests. Its award-winning spa is housed in an historic stable block and boasts a host of spa and leisure facilities including a dedicated relaxation room, Rasul, indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna, studio with fitness classes and a fully equipped gym.

Lesley Bacon, Group Health Club & Spa manager at Hand Picked Hotels, said: “To have three hotels as finalists in the nationally recognised Good Spa Guide Awards is a phenomenal achievement. The awards are especially important as they are voted for by anonymous guests, so it is great to know we are consistently providing a high standard of service to all of our guests.”

Lesley continues “We are absolutely thrilled with Rookery Hall Hotel’s win as we appreciate that this was a particularly tough category filled with industry high achievers. Accommodating for solo guests is a niche requirement and we are delighted we can cater to this market successfully.”

Daphne Metland, founder of The Good Spa Guide, said: “The competition for this year’s awards has been stronger than ever before as the standards are so high. We have some incredible spas in the UK and our winners and finalists all deserve a special mention due to the amount of hard work, dedication and high level of service they offer to their spa guests. We congratulate them all.”

In celebration of the recent awards success, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is offering ‘Super Spa’ breaks from £206 per person. This price includes accommodation in a Classic single room, a delicious three-course dinner and £75 towards the treatments of your choice, along with traditional breakfast.
